DCI – On Issuance of Certificates of Police Clearance AKA Certificate of Good Conduct

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has resumed issuance of Certificates of Police Clearance commonly referred to as Certificate of Good Conduct. The issuance started on 25th June 2020.

The DCI have come up with new guidelines to be observed in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to adhere to social distancing measures as advised by health experts, they will be attending to 600 clients daily beginning from 7 am to 4pm on working days.  If you intend your fingerprints to be taken at the DCI headquarters along Kiambu Road, you will need to make an appointment through their portal on e-citizen platform i.e. dci.ecitizen.go.ke/applications. When applying, ensure that you indicate the date and the exact time that you intend to go.

It is important to note that Only those with appointments and who arrive at the designated time will be allowed past the gate.
