Will Diogo Jota transcend his former team mates?

The Portuguese forward who signed for the English Champions in September 2020 from Wolverhampton wanderers has 8 appearances for Liverpool with 3 of them as a substitute. Jota has become a house hold name for the reds with 5 goals for Liverpool in the premier league.

Liverpool who have a list of injuries on their side are the only team that has not lost or drawn any of their home games this season. The reds have only lost once to wolves in the premier league with a solitary goal back in December 2010 at anfield. Will this December yield another win for the wolves?

Wolves on the other side have a relatively good away record with three wins and two losses with no draws. Wolves won their last away match against Arsenal. They have also won against Leeds and Sheffield United as well in their away matches.

Liverpool have a chance of going on top of the table if they win today’s match. Wolves win will grant them a position in the top four of the table.
