Leicester City have had and impressive performance ever since they returned in the premier league, they went ahead won their first title on their second season of return to the top flight. Their win has motivated other teams and there have been notable changes to the traditional to teams.
Leicester started this season’s campaign on a high and they have been struggling in their home matches. They have only managed to win three out of their seven matches at home giving them 9 point out of their tally of 24. Their form at home continued to be tainted when Everton stunned them.
Everton scored twice with a goal in each half. Everton’s first goal came in the 21st minute when Richarlison dribbled past his opponents to beat Kasper Schmeichel outside the box. The second goal was scored in the 72nd minute when Mason Holgate pounced on a loose ball after Dominic Calvert – Lewin’s effort hit the crossbar.
The results leave Leicester at 4th position, a position and a point away from Everton. Leicester will be visiting Tottenham Hotspur in their next match where as Everton will be hosting Arsenal.
