Madaraka express – SGR launches midnight train, their operations have been exempted from the night curfew which was extended to 12th of March 2020. The train is expected to leave Nairobi and Mombasa at 9 pm and arrive at both destinations at 3 am in the morning. The move is aimed at easing off the transport demand especially during this school opening period.
One of the measures put in place to curb the spread of Corona virus was the reduction of vehicle carrying capacity to 60% . This in turn increases the transportation demand and open exploitation doors.

I guess the train is exempted but I am not sure about the passengers

so much about curfew, our government is so pretentious… like they don’t know how kids will behave with their masks!!!!
