Manchester United has confirmed the signing of Ivorian teenager Amad Diallo Traore from Atalanta. Manchester United revealed that the Ivorian winger has signed a contract to the end of June 2025, with the option of an extra year.
The young star who started at Atalanta in their youth team, made his Serie A debut on 27th October 2019 as a substitute against Udinese, with an impressive start scoring his first goal for Atalanta four minutes later. Diallo has also featured in the champion league for Atalanta
Ole Gunnar showered the young star with praise during his welcome message where he stated; “As a club, we have followed Amad for a number of years and having watched him myself, I believe he is one of the most exciting young prospects in the game. He added that “Manchester United has such a proud history of developing young players and everything is in place to enable Amad to reach his potential here.
“It will take time for him to adapt but his speed, vision and fantastic dribbling ability will stand him in good stead to make the transition. He is a player with all of the raw attributes that are needed to be an important player for Manchester United in the years to come.”
