Kenya Prisons Shortlisted Candidates for The Posts of Medical Cadets, General Cadets and Medical Technicians both Male and Female

Embedded below are Kenya Prisons Shortlisted Candidates, following the advertisement for the recruitment of Medical Cadets Officers, General Cadets and Medical Technicians, that appeared in the print and online media.

The Kenya Prisons service is pleased to announce to the general public that the under listed are shortlisted candidates for the posts of:

• Medical Cadet officers,
• General Cadets officers and
• Medical Technicians.

Kenya Prisons Services invites Candidates for the interviews as per the dates and time indicated against their names. Those whose names do not appear in the list below should consider themselves unsuccessful.

Venue for the interviews

The Venue will be at the Prisons Staff Training College – Ruiru, situated along Ruiru – Kiambu Road off the Eastern Bypass. The Kenya Prisons Services warns Members of the public that the interviews will only be at the said venue and on the days as indicated. Kenya Prisons Services shall treat as criminal any person therefore purporting to be conducting interviews away from the venue.

About the Recruitment Process

On recruitment, candidates will undergo an intensive Government sponsored paramilitary initial training course lasting for not less than nine (9) for Medical Technicians and thirteen (13) months for medical and general cadet officers.

Prospective candidates MUST carry the following documents:  

1. original identification card,
2. birth certificate,
3. KRA PIN certificate,
4. academic certificates and other testimonials on the day of interviews.
