New Mombasa e-Services Portal

The New Mombasa e-Services Portal or Mombasa Electronic Services (e-Services) is a convenient and efficient way of service delivery by the County Government of Mombasa. “Mambo ni digital” (Going Digital) as they say. The creation of the portal is to improve on service delivery. Citizens and businesses can easily and conveniently access various automated government services via the platform.

You no longer need to queue to access these services from the county government of Mombasa. The services offered are:  

The Mombasa Electronic Services (e-Services) makes it easier and faster to apply process, pay and obtain the above permits.

How the New Mombasa e-Services portal Works

We have outlined a short procedure on how to go about the online application for the permits

Step 1: Click on the link to the Mombasa e-services www.eservices.mombasa.go.ke. Then Click Log in. The system will redirect you to the e-Citizen services platform . The alternative is to go straight to the e-Citizen Platform – Link to e-Citizen; https://www.ecitizen.go.ke/

Step 2: Select Sign in on the e-Citizen platform or sign up if you are not yet registered.

If you are already using e-citizen, use your e-Citizen log in details to continue. If you are not yet , then sign up on e-Citizen, click on sign up and follow prompts.

Step 3: Once signed in, on the dashboard click Add Business. This will create a business profile which you can use for all your future applications.

Step 4: Fill in the online form and attach all the required documents, then select Continue. Preview your entries and if okay, select Submit.

Step 5: The system will prompt you to make payment via the options provided. Upon successful payment, a Provisional Permit (for what you have applied for) will be automatically generated by the system.

Step 6: Download and print the provisional permit. Provisional Permit is an interim permit issued subject to inspection.

Step 7: After inspection and approval by the County officers, the final permit will be automatically generated by the system.
