Here are the New Nairobi Expressway Charges 2024. The rates are from one station to the subsequent exit station. This is for ease of reference. Kindly note that these rates are applicable to Class 3 vehicles – These include Saloon cars, SUVs, double cabs, pick-ups, small vans and such vehicles.

The New Nairobi Expressway Charges for Other Classes of Vehicles

Nairobi Expressway Toll Rates: For the other classes of vehicles use the guide below for the applicable rates:

• Class 1– two wheeled motor vehicles i.e motorbikes and similar vehicles. They are prohibited from using the expressway
• Class 2 – three wheeled motor vehicles – they include Tuk tuks. They are prohibited from using the expressway
• Class 4 – These are light vehicles with two axles and a high bonnet. These category include minibuses or Matatus with a capacity of up to 23 passengers. This category also includes Light trucks. The charges are 1.5 times the rates shown below.
• Class 5 – These include heavy vehicles with less than four axles. They include buses, Matatus which carry more than 24 passengers, trucks that fit the description etc. The charges are 4 times the charges indicated below
• Class 6 – These are the heavy commercial vehicles with more than 4 axles. The charges are 5 times the charges indicated below.
