POSITION: Driver-Education Section
The Driver shall under the direction, control and guidance of the Education Attaché in coordination with the Transport Officer perform the following duties and responsibilities: –
a. The official chauffeur to the Education Attaché facilitating his/her movement within United Kingdom as may be required by work.
b. Management of the Education Section Vehicle.
c. Ensure the Education vehicles are maintained to the acceptable UK standards to include timely servicing, MOT amongst others,
d. Timely report any vehicle defects to the education attaché
e. Ensure the vehicle work tickets are duly authorised and completed.
f. Management and ensure safe custody of the Extra keys for education Section Vehicles.
g. Management and ensure safe custody of the education section Fuel Cards in close liaison with the education Adviser.
h. Perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Mission or any responsible officer.
1) KCSE C- certificate/ Equivalent GCSE certification
2) Valid and clean Driving license category B
3) Recommendation for exemplary work performance
4) Two (2) years driving experience in the UK.
5) Versatility and basic knowledge of ICT is added advantage
This position is for a duration of twenty three (23) months, and the successful applicant(s) will be subject to Kenya High Commission Terms and Conditions of Service, as well as applicable UK laws and regulations.
